Rights of data subjects
When processing your personal data, the GDPR grants you, as a website user, certain rights:
1. Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR):
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed; if this is the case, you have the right to access this personal data and to the information specified in Art. 15 GDPR.
2. Right to rectification and erasure (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR):
You have the right to request the immediate rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and, where applicable, the completion of incomplete personal data. You also have the right to request that personal data concerning you be erased without delay if one of the reasons listed in detail in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued.
3. Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR):
You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies, e.g. if you have objected to the processing, for the duration of any review.
4. Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR):
In certain cases, which are listed in detail in Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request that this data be transferred to a third party.
5. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR):
If data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (data processing to safeguard legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrable compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.
6. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority:
Pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of data concerning you violates data protection regulations. The right to lodge a complaint can be exercised in particular with a supervisory authority in the member state of your residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged violation.
If you have any questions about the collection, processing, or use of your personal data, for information, for the correction, blocking, or deletion of data, as well as for the revocation of any consent given or to object to a specific use of data, please contact us at the following email address: contact@alpinementalflow.com
Encryption via SSL/TSL
For security reasons, our website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This protects transmitted data and prevents it from being read by third parties. You can recognize successful encryption by the fact that the protocol designation in the browser status bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and that a closed lock symbol is visible there.
Google reCAPTCHA

Cookies
We use cookies to enable certain functions and make visiting our website attractive. These are small text files that are stored on your device and store certain information for exchange with our system.
Types of cookies
First-party cookies – Necessary cookies
These are generated by our website and are necessary for the application to function properly. These cookies are automatically deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. when the browser is closed.
Without these cookies, the error-free operation of the website cannot be guaranteed. The legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
Third-party cookies
These are set by various services (e.g., analytics services or Facebook) and store a unique identifier that recognizes your device the next time you visit (persistent cookies).
These cookies remain on your device for a specified period of time. This period is variable.
We would like to point out that with some providers, especially those from the USA, there is a possibility that data may be transferred to the USA and processed by US authorities. According to the current legal situation, the USA is considered an unsafe third country with an inadequate level of data protection.
At present, there is no adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR, nor can suitable safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR be offered.
Google Web Fonts
This website uses web fonts provided by Google to ensure uniform font display. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into the browser cache to display text and fonts correctly. To do this, your browser must connect to Google’s servers. This allows Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used. Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

Note on data transfer to the USA
Our website includes tools from companies based in the USA. When these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to the US servers of the respective companies. We would like to point out that the USA is not a safe third country within the meaning of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to disclose personal data to security authorities without you, as the data subject, being able to take legal action against this. It cannot therefore be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. secret services) may process, evaluate, and permanently store your data located on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on this processing activity.

Video platform Vimeo
This website uses plugins from the video portal Vimeo, operated by Vimeo, LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. Each time you visit a page that contains one or more Vimeo video clips, a direct connection is established between your browser and a Vimeo server in the USA. Information about your visit and your IP address is stored there. When you interact with the Vimeo plugins (e.g., by clicking the start button), this information is also transmitted to Vimeo and stored there. The privacy policy for Vimeo with more detailed information about the collection and use of your data by Vimeo can be found in Vimeo’s privacy policy.
If you have a Vimeo user account and do not want Vimeo to collect data about you via this website and link it to your membership data stored with Vimeo, you must log out of Vimeo before visiting this website.
In addition, Vimeo calls up the Google Analytics tracker via an iFrame in which the video is called up. This is Vimeo’s own tracking system, to which we have no access. You can prevent tracking by Google Analytics by using the deactivation tools that Google offers for some Internet browsers. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by Google Analytics and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Shop – Direct sales and sales via third-party platforms
Direct sales and sales via third-party platforms
Our online shop is not a shop in the traditional sense, but primarily serves as an information and presentation platform for our products. At present, products can only be purchased via the online contact form. Once payment has been successfully made via the payment link (www.zahls.ch), the meditation is sent to the customer by email via swisstransfer.
In a further step, our products will also be sold via external meditation platforms. Customers can select their country and will be directed to a meditation platform that is well known in their country. In these cases, the actual sale and payment processing do not take place directly via our website, but via external sales platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Etsy, etc.).
Please note that these platforms’ own privacy policies apply to the purchase transaction, payment processing, and storage and processing of your personal data on these platforms. We recommend that you read these carefully before use.
Note on data protection:
We only collect and process data on our website that is necessary for the provision of our content (e.g., cookies, contact form). We do not process your personal data that is collected during the purchase process on third-party platforms.
Audio and video conferences
We use audio and video conferencing services to communicate with our users and other individuals. In particular, we use these services to conduct audio and video conferences, virtual meetings, and mental training/coaching sessions.
We only use services that guarantee adequate data protection. In addition to this privacy policy, any terms and conditions of the services used, such as terms of use or privacy policies, also apply.
We use the German service provider Coachingspace.net for our online coaching sessions in particular, and Zoom or Jitsi Meet as supplementary communication platforms.
Zoom is a service provided by the American company Zoom Video Communications Inc. Zoom also grants the rights under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to users in Switzerland. Further information on the type, scope, and purpose of data processing can be found in the privacy policy and on the “Legal Provisions and Data Protection” page of Zoom.
